Scheduled Major Hydro Turbine Upgrade

This large hydro turbine unit is located on the Warrior River southwest in Southwest, AL. The hydro plant was built over 100 years ago. Hope Power & Industrial provided all specialty craft and supervision to perform the disassembly of all generator and turbine components, supporting machining of embed surfaces back to level. Reassembly of new one-piece solid turbine unit including generator stator and rotor reassembly. The unit was successfully commissioned and continues to operate as designed.
